Established in 1975, the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies (CCAS) is a research center in the School of Foreign Service offering courses, certificates, and degree programs in the language, history, culture, politics, and economics of the contemporary Arab world. CCAS is also a Department of Education-sponsored National Resource Center on the Middle East and North Africa.
