The food was great, and the price was even better! We got the yellow rice with half and half chicken and beef, and it was delicious. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the beef was perfectly cooked. The portion sizes were generous, and everything was well-seasoned. The staff was very friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable. The market was clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what we needed. Highly recommend Golden Chicken and Meat Market for delicious food, excellent service, and great prices!
If I could rate this place 0 stars, I would. This place quickly rises to worst customer service in the Dearborn community. Food was undercooked and their service/response was equally as horrible. Not worth your money and would not recommend. Good news is theyโre surrounded by much better options and better service. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, I promise.
The chicken shawarma was decent, but we were disappointed to find the chicken rather dry, as evident in the photo. Despite this, we appreciated the generous amount of garlic sauce generously spread throughout the sandwich. In addition, the fact that they provided extra sauce without prompting was a nice touch. While it was tasty overall, we do wish the chicken had been more moist and seasoned.
Been eating in Dearborn for 25 years but the quality has gotten worse over the years. Non Arabs be careful as in some Lebanese operated stores you will get charged differently from Arabs. Bought a small white rice with chicken shawarma on it and I was charged 16 bucks. Days prior it was 11 dollars. Today it was 14.85 but instead of shawarma I got mostly tasteless chicken chops. They call themselves Muslims but earn haram money all the times. I own a small shop in Detroit near Dearborn but because of nonsense like this I don't generally eat in Dearborn anymore. I WILL NEVER RETURN to this place ever. I used to buy shawarma here back when it was RIZQ HALAL MEAT, back when they sold shawarma for 2.50 around 2000-2004
I donโt no what happened to this place but this is my last time buying from here. The last few times I got the whole roasted chicken was dry and still pink from inside but yesterday the chicken was so dry I honestly think itโs from a day before and if it wasnโt then it was dry to a point where you canโt even eat it and there was hardly anything in there but bones Iโm so disappointed that they donโt even care what there selling to there customers!
