The Original Green Olive

Having recently dined at the Green Olive restaurant, I'm eager to share my experience. This cozy spot specializes in a delightful array of meat choices, including kababs, shish kabobs, and chicken—favorites that my friend raved about after multiple visits. While the carnivorous options are abundant, I was pleasantly surprised to find thoughtful considerations for vegan and vegetarian diners on the menu. For those on plant-based diets, there are three dedicated vegan and vegetarian dishes available, alongside an impressive selection of salads that match the variety offered in the meat section. What stood out was the authenticity of the vegan offerings—they weren't mere substitutes but genuine culinary creations, a refreshing change from the norm. Despite the restaurant's small size, it boasts an ambiance adorned with captivating artwork that adds a touch of elegance and charm to the dining experience. The visual appeal adds to the overall warmth of the place, making it a delightful setting for a meal. For anyone looking to treat their plant-eating friends, this place is a gem, although not too many options. However, with its genuine vegan choices and an inviting ambiance, they're sure to find flavorful dishes without leaving hungry. Good Mediterranean food at very reasonable prices. I got myself a chicken wrap and while the flavor was there, the chicken itself was a little too dry. I don’t remember which vegetarian dish my friend got but I liked it more than my chicken wrap. There’s seating inside but they have a better-looking dining area outside. There’s lots of parking so you don’t have to worry about that.

The food is outstanding! So delicious! The place is small and most seating is outside - keep that in mind. I ordered to go - FYI - I would order ahead of time via phone so you don't have to stand around a small area

First time at this location & come with the kids. We ordered the Kabob Family Feast. It looked like a good value versus buying 4 plates. We asked if we could swap out the spicy potatos for Geta Potatos, and they happily obliged. Everything was made to order and tasted very fresh. The hummus was amazing. Creamy, savory, and a perfect accompaniment with everything served. The gyro and chicken were a hit with the kids. The beef, shrimp, and kafta were also terrific. Everything cooked exactly to order. The salad was a hit between my wife and I. The dressing is lemony and really works well with the cucumbers and tomatoes. The feast came with 6 whole pita breads served hot and steamy. It was actually more than we could eat! All 4 of us ate, and there was almost a full plate of leftovers to enjoy another day. Be sure to ask for plates if you order the feast as it wasn't automatically brought to us, although they knew we were eating in restaurant. The green spicy sauce and the garlic sauce were both delicious, but we preferred the garlic sauce. We will definitely be returning again.
