a year agoGreat space and great atmosphere. The people here are quite kind and knowledgeable. I have seen the space used for different events like weddings, baby welcoming ceremonies, panels, etc. It can get a little tight if the count is off, but it house 250 people nicely. The carpet in the prayer area is a beautiful green color and quite soft. The current Imam, Akil Ingram, and the panel that helps him seem to all want unity among the Masajid and have started hosting and attending events to do so. Besides the bathroom smell theyโre working on, the only con is the parking, but thatโs because the congregation has multiplied nicely.

a year agoThis community is in a simi-subherbian neighborhood, so the traffic is not as heavy as in the city. They have street-side parking, a small parking area in the back of the mosque, and a larger parking lot across the street. They have ongoing family-centered activities and Islamic Studies classes. The main lower level has an industrial-like kitchen and cafeteria, where you can purchase food and refreshments. Etc. The community is moderate to large (not over-crowded), so it still maintains a community vibe, where most people know each other and are welcoming to visitors.
