Hani Hashem, MD, is board-certified in internal medicine. Dr. Hashem earned his medical degree from Damascus University in Syria. He completed his internship and residency at Lutheran Medical Center in New York. Dr. Hashem likes to involve patients in their healthcare decisions. By empowering them in this way, he knows that they are taking responsibility for their lifestyle choices. In his spare time, Dr. Hashem enjoys reading and attending cultural events. In addition to English, Dr. Hashem is fluent in Arabic.
