Specialties
Nestled in a charming house from the 1900s is our family-run business serving up a taste of Lebanon through traditional recipes and meals made from scratch. Our family first opened doors in 1976, since then we’ve carried our culture to Allen, TX — delighting our diners through our craft and cuisine. Our sublime flavors come from our garden-grown veggies and locally-sourced ingredients — and you’ll be able to taste the freshness in our roasted eggplant and mint-garlic yogurt. With wholesome dishes and warm service, we strive to give you meals made with love and the kind of comfort you can’t find elsewhere.
History
Established in 1976.
Since 1976, when Antoine Hedary and his family of 9 arrived from Lebanon and opened their first Lebanese restaurant on White Settlement Rd. in Ft. Worth, Texas, Hedary’s has been delighting critics and diners alike with their commitment to using natural, fresh, high quality ingredients. George Hedary continues this legacy in Allen, Texas, where he currently resides with his wife and two children. This is George’s third restaurant; his first was in the Promenade Shopping Center in Richardson, Texas in 1988. Hedary’s uses traditional recipes and culinary techniques and is committed to providing food that is fresh and flavorful without the use of preservatives or unnatural additives and never microwaved! They pickle their own cucumbers and turnips that are grown for them locally. They also make our own yogurt (laban) and strain the whey out to make our own labneh. The milk that is used is purchased locally and comes from cows that are milked daily.

7 months agoWhat a wonderful experience! The food was delicious and the service was very welcoming and personal. Ana and Buddy were attentive and treated us like family. This is a BYOB establishment with no rush experience. A little gem in the heart of Allen.

The food was made with love, I could taste it. The atmosphere is so inviting we didnโt want to leave. The food is phenomenal- this chef has decades of training and experience and it shows on the dinner table. I canโt wait to bring my family to this spot when they come to visit for the holidays. 10/10 would recommend d to a friend!
