Avoid This Clinic at All Costs – Unprofessional and Discriminatory Behavior I had an extremely frustrating and unpleasant experience at Hispanic American Pediatric Associates. This clinic is the epitome of unprofessionalism and treats its customers like criminals. Despite having an appointment, you can't even go inside the clinic. Instead, you're forced to call them, endure a lengthy IVR system, and then wait in a queue for a customer service representative. Even if you arrive 30 minutes early, it's virtually impossible to get through. When I knocked on the door to inquire about my appointment, I was rudely told to call them instead. My recent visit was to collect a preschooler form that I had dropped off for authorization the day before. The form was ready for pick-up, yet I had to spend 45 minutes trying to connect with them just to get a signed copy. This level of incompetence is unacceptable, especially when they claim on their website and on their front door that they are open on Saturdays —but in reality, they are not. What’s worse is the blatant discrimination I witnessed. If you are in the waiting area, they will prioritize those who speak their language, leaving others waiting for an unreasonable amount of time. This is a clear case of racial discrimination, and it’s deeply concerning. Additionally, they have absurd policies regarding face masks. If you forget to wear one, they will not let you in and will force you to purchase one. The nearest pharmacy, which is affiliated with them, sells a simple disposable mask for an outrageous $2. This is nothing short of a scam. If you care about your children and value your time, avoid this place at all costs. The level of disrespect and unprofessionalism is appalling, and I would never trust them with my child’s care again.

This clinic is neglectful, unprofessional and an absolute scam of money and time. In July of 2023, I had been tested positive for H pylori in a different countries blood test/lab work, when I handed my doctor my blood-work, he gave me MiraLAX, an acne cleanser and told me to take calcium. I had no idea what H pylori was or what it’d do to me down the road so I didn’t think anything of this. This was a practice of negligence on the doctor’s part that we didn’t realize until now. In May 2024, I started getting horrible stomach aches, frequent burping, nausea, acid refluxes, bloating, indigestion, all symptoms of H pylori. I visited my doctor for a second time listing all of my symptoms and he asks me if I have a boyfriend and suggests pregnancy, I was 14, this was super disrespectful. He gives me a test order for an H pylori breath test. In August of 2024, we went back to the doctor confused on why we have to do another test, if there’s already a blood-work saying I’m positive. My doctor’s response to this was “We don’t accept other countries lab work”, at this point it was obvious they were just trying to milk us of our money, considering all the times we went in for this matter. The doctor asked again if I had a boyfriend and that I “got it from him.” Again, I am only 15 and this was disrespectful and inappropriate on a whole other level. The fact that it took a year to receive treatment is diabolical considering our trust in this doctor, how badly we got played of our money and the amount of events, like school, hangouts, clubs, I had to miss because of H pylori. Moreover, this clinic treats their patients like criminals. Having to wait outside, get walked in and out, and their demand for payment before your appointment even starts is ludicrous. Not to mention, you have to wait outside for 10 minutes until they notice you, you have to wait in the waiting room for 15+ minutes, even if you’re on time for your appointment, and wait another 20 minutes waiting for the doctor to come in the room for your appointment. If you value your time and money, I suggest you find a different pediatrician.

They are very kind, the doctor is very sweet, I would not change this clinic for any one!!! Thank you Doctor for that great kindness that you have for your patients
