Was travelling like I regularly do. Wanted to stop by but the reality of many communities when travelling throughout America is such, finding structurally beautiful buildings with a dead community. They kept the shell and ignored the essence. Sign on the door states "isha prayer times are posted inside, everyone welcome", but it was closed during isha. Went back next day... closed. Mind you this was all Saturday / Sunday. Sign states, must arrange with others if you want to pray in jamaat.

Beautiful Masjid funded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with great splendor and potential. However, the leadership is lacking. The masjid is not functioning as its suppose to. It's not open for the 5 prayers or Jumah prayer- consistently. It's also not promoting dawa to the community, and Islamic, Quran nor Arabic classes classes are offered. It lacks community involvement, Islamic functions If the "Imam" can not step up, and delegate roles etc.., he should seek out a replacement, so we can have a fully functioning masjid to serve the Muslim community and create religious dialogue and understanding with the wider community for dawa purposes !

It's not open between prayers I kinda get, but not even open for the 5 prayers(magrib not talking fajr)? The only mosque in the whole peninsula? It is large and clean, always plenty of parking for jumaa and Saturday activities, there seem to be some community activity, beautiful lawn and children playground.
