Assalamu Alaikum,
Based on the in-shelter lockdown restrictions in Sonoma County from midnight tonight, the Islamic Center of Petaluma is suspending all activities including Juma prayer until further notice.
The restrictions are supposed to end on Tuesday April 7, before which we will send out updates.
May Allah keep you all in His protection, good health and firm Iman and help those in need. Ameen.

a year agoI visited this masjid years ago for jummah. I saw brothers with little plastic hats which I though was strange. I don't know if that's thing in parts of India or Pakistan. Then jummah was all in classical arabic. I am half Egyptian but I couldn't help think to myself looking around if anyone else understood the khutbah. It seemed that most are of Indian or Pakistani orgin/ decent. I would suggest to at least make half of the khutbah in english for non arabic speaking people and especially the youth. JAK.
