Such a welcoming community. Iftar was served everyday during the month of Ramadhan. Imam Isa and Usama are one of the most amazing brothers to be around and to learn from. And the mosque is super beautiful. MashaAllah...may Allah preserve the goodness of this community and the mosque.

This center appears to be heavily focused on collecting money, with swipe machines installed for credit card donations, which may concern those mindful of halal and haram financial practices. It raises questions about whether they are adhering to ethical standards regarding usury (riba). If you prefer to donate, it might be better to contribute in cash to ensure you align with your own beliefs. A similar situation seems to exist at their sister center in Devon. Be mindful of these practices, and focus on going for prayers (Namaz).

Regarding the serving of food within the mosque premises. Mosques are places of worship and should ideally maintain an atmosphere conducive to prayer, reflection, and spiritual connection. Introducing food service within the mosque building can potentially disrupt this sacred environment and may lead to various issues. Firstly, serving food within the mosque can compromise its cleanliness and sanctity. Food consumption areas require strict hygiene standards to prevent contamination and ensure the well-being of worshippers. Introducing food within the mosque premises could lead to spills, stains, and unpleasant odors, which may detract from the spiritual experience for those attending prayers or engaging in religious activities. Secondly, serving food within the mosque can also create distractions during prayer times or religious gatherings. The noise and commotion associated with food service may disturb worshippers who seek tranquility and focus during their time at the mosque. Additionally, serving food within the mosque might raise concerns about potential health and safety hazards, particularly if proper food handling and sanitation practices are not followed diligently. It's important for mosque management to consider alternative options for providing food, such as organizing meals or events in designated areas outside the main prayer halls. This approach can ensure that the sanctity of the mosque is preserved while still meeting the needs of the community. I would encourage you to address your concerns with the mosque's leadership in a respectful manner, expressing your desire to uphold the sacredness of the mosque environment and proposing constructive solutions for providing food services in a manner that aligns with Islamic principles and values. It's concerning to hear about the lack of cleanliness at the mosque, especially if it's being run by individuals who may not be qualified or knowledgeable in maintaining hygiene standards. Cleanliness is not only a basic necessity but also holds significant importance in Islam. Mosques are meant to be places of purity and sanctity, where worshippers can find solace and spiritual connection. The management of the mosque should prioritize maintaining cleanliness as it reflects the respect and reverence for both the physical space and the spiritual practices conducted within it. Neglecting cleanliness not only tarnishes the image of the mosque but also poses health risks to the worshippers. It might be beneficial for the community to address this issue directly with the management of the mosque. Constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement, along with possible solutions such as implementing regular cleaning schedules, providing proper training for those responsible for maintenance, or seeking assistance from professional cleaning services, could help rectify the situation. Ultimately, it's essential for the mosque's leadership to recognize the importance of cleanliness in fostering a welcoming and spiritually enriching environment for all worshippers.
