Awesome spot for authentic Mediterranean food. Lots of choices, all made from scratch. Their fluffy pitas are dangerously tasty. I got the shawarma plate and the chicken and meat were both succulent. Fair prices and clean place. You have to try their gluten free cookies too. Thereโs a reason people were lining up on a Tuesday. Canโt wait to be back!
Laylas in Westport is the real deal. Authentic, freshly made, and delicious food great for lunches and dinners served in a friendly, warm, and traditional feeling space. We go for the rice bowls - the chicken kabob and the falafel is our favorite and we get everything else they have on there.
I have gone to different locations, and the food is consistently the same. My husband and I ordered the split creamy lentil soup, and ooh, so good. Add some pita chips or rice on the side, and the meal is complete. This is the best falafel spot in CT.
I wanted to comment that my experience was great. The food was amazing and authentic. Bilal recommended my family and I to give it a try and now itโs our favorite place. Food is fresh and super delicious. Hummus is the best, also wait times are not super long so great place to stop during lunch time.
My family loves Layla's.
All of the meats are cooked perfectly and paired so nicely with the other fillings in the sandwiches.
The French fries are the best we've been able to find in the local area. They are hot, perfectly crispy and seasoned.
So much flavor. A real treat.
