The inception of Long Beach Islamic Center (LBIC) was in 2003. Sheikh Tariq Mohammed, a Muslim Scholar and a community activist, led the effort to build a mosque for Long Beach community. The first location for LBIC is a building that was a car repair garage. The Muslim community in Long Beach worked together clean the garage and establish it as a mosque

a month agoThis place needs you generosity as it needs to expand and build a new masjid. Muslims of Long Beach you can do it. My suggestion is to add a small plaza in the design so the rent of it can cover the monthly expenses. If youโre a long beacher or if youโre just passing by donate and be part of this nice project
