Great service, large portions, big flavor. We got #4, #5 #29 and #36. All were amazing except 29 was a bit bland/dry so we ordered some Taziki to dip in. Also for $5 if you like garlic a lot you have to get the garlic sauce!
Oh and the baklava was so good!
Our first visit we ordered takeout and was highly impressed by the quality of the food. We noticed a lunch buffet sign and decided to go back next week to try more dishes. I started with a coffee, small and strong!
For lunch they offered lentil soup and pita bread to start, then the cold line had at least 6 different salads, 3 dips and 3 deserts. On the hot side they offered 3 vegetarian dishes, rice, chicken kabobs, shrimp, kafta, lamb and okra stew with beef.
The food was outstanding and the service matched. The waiter was patient and walked us through the whole buffet explaining the dishes because it was our first visit. Thank you.
Buffet price was $21.99
I recently dined at Mandaloun Mediterranean Restaurant in Jacksonville and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with elegant dรฉcor that enhances the dining experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. I started with the hummus, which was creamy and perfectly seasoned, served with warm pita bread. For the main course, I had the lamb kebabs, which were tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The tabbouleh and baba ghanoush were excellent sides, adding a fresh and authentic touch to the meal. The baklava for dessert was a delightful finish, with its rich, sweet layers. Overall, Mandaloun offers a fantastic dining experience with delicious Mediterranean cuisine and exceptional service.
Pretty good and authentic Lebanese restaurant. Food was all around tasty. They have an outdoor seating area that allows for smoking hookah and eating. Interior designs are clean and attractive. Service was attentive and friendly. Our party ordered the Moujadara, Sijouk, Kefte Mishwe platter, Moussaka and Chicken Mishwe platter. The Moussaka could've been better enjoyed with rice or some sort of starch, as the dish was minimal. The lamb kebabs were very tender and flavorful. Veggies also were perfectly cooked. The tiramisu was delicious, but was not made in house. Originally wanted the Jebnah dessert but it took too long to make. Prices are a little higher than I'd like. Glad the menu wasnโt the bare boned Mediterranean spread, it was closer to what you'd eat at a Lebanese household. We left just in time as a belly dancer presentation came up, wife was happy to get me outta there.
