Mari Yokhana is an attorney in Morgan & Morgan’s Employee Rights Group. Ms. Yokhana focuses her practice on representing employees in wage and hour cases under the Fair Labor Standards Act, as well as discrimination and retaliation cases under applicable state and federal statutes, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. 1981 and 1983, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act.
Before joining Morgan & Morgan’s Employee Rights Group, Ms. Yokhana clerked at the largest firm in Macomb County, MI defending cities, corporations, and individuals. Prior to that, Ms. Yokhana interned at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District in MI. While attending law school at Wayne State University, Ms. Yokhana was a member of the Moot Court team and participated in the Robert F. Wagner National Labor and Employment Law Competition. She was also an article editor for Wayne’s Journal of Law in Society.
