The establishment provides excellent service in a delightful ambiance. The culinary offerings are delectable, and the staff consistently demonstrates helpfulness in addressing any inquiries. It serves as an ideal location for socializing with friends.
I find this location to be well located. But it lacks atmosphere and style to me. It simply feels bland compared to the one on Richmond Avenue. The service is good, though. Friendly and fast. The lamb was delicious. It's not my go-to, but it's a great backup option.
My boyfriend didnโt enjoy the food, but I thought it was fine. For a quick lunch this place is decent. If we came back we would try something other than the beef shawarma wrap. Their pita is served warm and tastes fresh which was yummy!
5 stars for the location, vibe and how clean the restaurant is.
No stars for the food; the prices do not match the taste nor how much food you get.
You can't even add any leafy greens to the pitas. The size of the pita is absolutely unacceptable. Isn't Mediterranean cuisine based in leafy greens? I couldn't add anything to the pita.
The hummus tasted like nothing, or as if it's a powder and they added water...far from the homemade taste I'm use to.
The Grape Leaves were terrible. I didn't know that was possible. I've had Grape Leaves from a can that taste better than these.
I can't comment on the salad nor the other sandwich because that was my cousin's food.
I'd rather spend almost $100 at Cava, I would get way more food and it would taste better. I firmly believe Mary's Mediterranean is paying someone off for the awards they so graciously display.
$7 for a frozen drink when the menu clearly says fresh juice is not the mid blowing part...but the size of it is...
I understand and respect inflation... however this was beyond disappointing.
Mary'z has a friendly albeit understaffed crew, that is extremely helpful, but can be slow being stretched too thinly. Everything we had was delicious and fairly priced. The portions can be very large for the cost. They had the best Texas Quail I've had in the state, very tender, well seasoned and beautifully charred. Some staples like the Hummus were a little underwhelming, and the patio needed a little extra cleaning attention (they do hookah outdoors, so there is a lot of ash on the ground). But we will be back.
