The Brooklyn Staten Island Subchapter (BKSI) is central to MAS NY work. Because of its close proximity to Manhattan, Queens, and the state of New Jersey, BKSI has a wealth of resources at its fingertips and is perhaps the most diverse subchapter in MAS NY.

8 months agoClean masjid. The management team are very friendly and approachable. Mostly Arab-ran but sermons and such held in English. There are other ethnicities that attend as well. Big restroom and wudu place. Nice section for women. Check the time table pictures for Salah for 2024. Taraweeh is held generally 10 minutes after isha time.

6 months agoGreat Masjid very spacious and clean, the Friday kutbah is given in English for all to understand. Thereโs plenty of open space for easy parking and the people are very welcoming and understanding. Highly recommend praying taraweh on Ramadan nights here brothers and sisters.

4 years agoVery unwelcoming. Nothing like a masjid at all. Disappointed in the workers behavior. My family and I were watched until we left to make sure we left as quickly as possible. They kicked out my three year old brother while I was praying and made him stand outside ALONE without shoes. I had to end my prayer to watch him. There is no zero star rating unfortunately.
