6 years agoThis is the oldest and the first mosque in SLC. Five times daily congregational prayers take place here, weekly Jummah sermon/prayer, Quran Exegesis (Tafseer), and occasional guest speakers. The imam is immensely knowledgeable in Islam and an eloquent speaker. The congregants are friendly, and do their best to make you feel welcomed. This mosque is for Muslims and non-muslims alike, definitely check this place out!

a year agoBeware the people at this masjid. Youโd hope that Muslims would accept other Muslims but thatโs not the case here. I came here twice, the first time the sheikh made a hateful comment. The second time I came another Muslim stood right in front of me on my ja namaz while I was praying. Been disrespected both times I came here. I got the message and wonโt be back.
