7 months agoGreat place to pray ur daily namaaz. Horrible parking setup but eventually they will fix it once they have 300,000$ in donations so they can put a bigger concrete slabs in the back of the property for the parking setup.

9 months agoWe moved to Texas in November 2023 and have been looking for a masjid to go for Ramadan. I am not only touched by the warmth and welcoming atmosphere of Masjid Istiqlal but I am overwhelmed with emotion of how much I feel at home. Being on Cambodian and Cham descent, itโs not easy to find a community you feel at ease with. Our kids love the playground and I myself played basketball there. The family room for taraweeh is so spacious and I feel less guilty too. The FOOD for iftar was so delightful and they are so organized and just overall so hospitable. I canโt wait for the upgrades to the masjid as it continues to grow. The only thing I had trouble with was the bathroom accessibility lol but everything else was top notch!
