6 months agoBismillah al-Rahman al-Rahimโฆ.โฆ 831 years ago, our great-grandfather Salahadeen Ayoubi passed away. But MashaโAllah, his legacy still continues to inspire his descendants. In his honor, we have named our new mosque Masjid Salahadeen. Phase one of the project is opening in just a few days in Plano, Texas, in the holy month of Ramadan. InshaโAllah, this mosque will be among the finest in the country, offering great programs, and activities for the community and most importantly, it will feature some of the greatest Imams in the country. May Allah reward everyone involved in and who donated to this noble project. 3/11/2024 Barzan Kurdi

2 months agoFrom what I have been told that Turkish community is putting a mosque/center of their own in Plano county. MashaAllah, another place of worship. Currently, it's a makeshift arrangement till the actual Islamic center is put together. The name of the mosque, as one brother already puts it, is named after one of the greatest Islamic Warriors / Leaders / Conquerors who put the other empires and rulers run scared but respected the society he captured. I have recently moved to Dallas and seemingly one of my favorite place to go pray on Fridays. Further, I was also informed that the Taraweeh prayers this past Ramadan were beautiful here when this place of worship had recently opened up.
