The Muslim Community Center (MCC) โ East Bay is a vibrant congregation that exudes a sense of community. Each day we attempt to love and worship God (great and glorified is He) and follow the teachings of the Holy Qurโan and the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Our conviction is driven by a community-minded approach to Islam that appreciates the many opportunities and challenges of being an American-Muslim in 2021. That ethos is expressed daily through our many services and programs.
We offer spiritual development and youth empowerment programs that aim to be fun and inspiring. Also We strive for a family-friendly environment that encourages modesty, creativity, and community involvement. We are responsive, forward-thinking, and an environmentally friendly and special-needs friendly mosque. Female congregants have led as the President of the Board of Directors from 2016 to 2020 and women have been represented on the leadership since its founding.
As the largest Islamic complex in the Tri-Valley, our Friday prayer service draws about 400 worshippers from across the East Bay. The Center also sponsors public lectures, social service projects, and participates in interfaith activities through regional and national religious organizations.
We welcome you to our center where each day we are strengthening faith through community within the precious walls that hold our future.

2 months agoSo saddened that MCC is making every effort to divide the Muslim community! Celebrating Eid Aladha in different days (06/17 vs. 06/16) from the rest of the USA and muslim world just makes its boardโs sanity and knowledge about Islam basics very questionable. Basically MCC stands out not by serving or uniting the community but by denying Arafat day. May the almighty guide you to the right path.

4 months agomA I was very impressed with this facility. Traveling from NJ for work I stopped by here on my way to the airport to Pray Thuhr and Asr. What a lovely place, went after Asr time and the place was alive. Youth around the facility, engagements within, clean, lounge area seating. May Allah bless this center, mA
