3 months agoI cannot speak more highly of Mara Kent and the rest of her staff. Mara drafted a complete estate plan (will/trust) for me and my husband, and then subsequently oversaw the probated portion of my spouseโs estate upon his death. She assisted me from date of death until probateโs closure; no question was too small, and she was always quick with an answer. The process was streamlined and efficiently managed โ special kudos to Maraโs paralegal for her endless patience, prompt responses to questions, and detailed follow-through!

5 months agoI never thought setting up a Trust would have such a profound impact on me, but working with Mara was an absolute game-changer. At a time when I was feeling overwhelmed by significant life changes, she was there to expertly guide me through the process of setting up a trust. Mara herself was wonderful to work withโcompetent, skilled, and efficient, yet kind and respectful. She took time to get to know me and made me feel important, even though my assets might not be as substantial as most people. I now have a solid plan in place for my loved ones. It's a level of comfort that's hard to put into words, but I am so grateful this is done. If you're on the fence about whether or not you need a trust, I highly recommend reaching out to Mara.

5 months agoAbsolutely cant say enough wonderful things about Mara Kent and her law firm . We worked with her and Alyssa and from the beginning they made sure me and my family were well taken care of, and well informed. They were very prompt with court documentation, and getting back to myself and others with questions. It never felt like they didn't care and that means a lot as they handled my family estate after our loss. If you are ever in the Ann Arbor / SE Michigan area and need an Estate attorney who care please call them !

9 months agoMara Kent did an outstanding job updating our estate plan. We started with older documents -- she helped us identify where those documents were insufficient and actually didn't support our intentions. We have several complications including a blended family and prior divorce agreements; Mara took the time to listen to us, understand our needs, then walk us through revisions that clearly met our objectives. We are 100% comfortable with the outcome, and confident that we have taken care of each other and our children. We have already highly recommended her to friends, and they have thanked us! We fully intend to go back to Mara for any future legal needs.

6 months agoIt was an absolute pleasure working with Mara and team. She is incredibly knowledgable about the many nuances of estate planning. She made distilled very complex topics to make them "accessible" to me as someone with no legal background. Alyssa, the paralegal, was responsive and great to work with. We highly recommend, and are very happy with our experience and the security of now having all of our important documents in place!
