Mohamed Al-Hendy's practice focuses on complex civil litigation at the state and federal trial levels. He represents major companies in the energy, pharmaceutical, and aviation industries. Mr. Al-Hendy regularly litigates actions involving trade secret, fraud, and contract claims, as well as cases involving statutory interpretation. He has experience in all aspects of litigation including initial claim and defense assessment, drafting and arguing motions, trial, preparing for oral argument, working with experts, and managing discovery teams.
Mr. Al-Hendy maintains an active pro bono practice. He has assisted with challenges to federal public health budgeting cuts, immigration proceedings for asylum-seekers, criminal record expunctions, and family court proceedings. He is currently assisting Texas residents with FEMA disaster relief appeals.
Before attending law school, Mr. Al-Hendy served as a teacher in the Houston Independent School District and a member of President Obama's Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships. He also worked as a staff writer for Bleacher Report, covering soccer around the world with a focus on the English Premier League.
