Mr. Saleem oversees all the firm’s immigration cases to ensure compliance with the latest developments pertaining to immigration law and practice so that the our immigration client’s case is successfully processed under the current Trump Administration’s strict immigration policies and regulations before Department of Homeland Security (USCIS, ICE, or CPB) or Department of State (NVC/US Embassies abroad).
Following the unlawful Muslim Ban in Jan. 2017 that affected the law firm’s many Yemeni immigration cases, Mr. Saleem volunteered his expertise and time at JFK Airport with other lawyers as part of the ‘No Ban JFK’ of NY Immigration Coalition to make sure immigrants were not detained by Customs Border Patrol (CBP). Mr. Saleem’s Yemeni client was featured in an article by The Guardian covering the travel ban affecting the ability of his fiancee. Simultaneously, from Jan-April 2017, Mr. Saleem and his partner Mr. Ndanusa held ‘Know Your Rights’ talks and seminars in local Brooklyn and Manhattan mosques pertaining to the ban’s restrictions affecting Yemenis with pending visas or petitions. Furthermore, Mr. Saleem has been featured in other local newspapers such as The BKLYNER discussing a lawsuit he co-counseled with CAIR-NY for US Citizenship application delay as well as The Middle East Eye on international students.
Mr. Saleem is a current and active member of American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the local AILA New York Chapter where he is member of the Federal Practice Committee.
In addition, Mr. Saleem is a skilled real estate negotiator and real estate litigation attorney who has helped his clients purchase and sell hundreds of houses and investment properties since 2010. In real estate transactions, he is able to successfully foresee potential risks to buyers and sellers in advance in an effort to minimize the potential risk of lawsuit arising out of the contract. He has successfully litigated real estate disputes such as breach of contract, constructive trusts, and partition actions throughout NY.
Mr. Saleem is admitted to practice law in New York State as well as Federal District Courts of Southern District of New York (SDNY) and Eastern District of New York (EDNY), the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has been recognized for his legal service to the NYC community in the area of foreclosure defense in 2012 by the New York State Bar Association and the Queens County Bar Association.
Mr. Saleem received his Juris Doctorate in 2009 from Pennsylvania State University’s Dickinson School of Law where he was a member of the law school’s Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition team and his Bachelor of Arts in 2006 from Hunter College.

Saleem, Esq. was called me about All about his information and I was explaining everything my Situation, he was understanding person and he good guy but he explained me what we need next on features So now he didnโt collect any money for me and for consultation charge but Whatever happened, I will tell you below; what happened you can see below. Tiktok is being used as a fraud in the name of Salim. The consulation charges that he makes for withdrawing money is fake, so do not send any money without video call, please confirm with office after you can give your work. 2 weeks agoExtremely disappointed! I went into the consultation with Mr Salem with high hopes thinking he could help me with a case as he had promised during the call however, was quickly let down. I reached out several times via email and phone calls to him and his assistant Nethya, attempting to follow up to which I got no response. My time has gone to waste after being ignored and let down several times!
