MOHSEN M. HAMZA, M.D.

Dr. Hamza is extreme personable and his staff was amazing. My partner and I were in a car accident together and this office was extremely accommodating, allowing us to come in at the same time with our infant son. Extremely friendly staff and very nice office! Would recommend it to anyone!

Writing this review a year late. Dr. Hamza did not take time to explain to me thoroughly his thoughts or findings and kept me wondering on the side what was going on. He would not take time with the sessions I had with him, I felt rushed when asking questions. He also was not the friendliest, which I don’t necessarily need but communication was not the best. I was seeing them weekly for electro-therapy until they said they don’t have physical therapists available and they would call me when they do. They never called me back. My primary care doctor was calling them for 6 months to get my test results sent over to them, but there was no luck so I have yet to know what all the testing showed. My primary care doctor was getting frustrated contacting them, so I also tried calling 3 times asking for them myself so that I can show my primary care doctor, but the receptionist never emailed them to me. I gave up after the year was done and I got all that testing done in Jan-Mar 2022. I’m still paying the bills for testing I never got results for. I will say that the testing nurses (the people running the tests, not sure what the proper name is for them) were very kind and explained everything very well, made sure you were comfortable. They were the only thing about this office that were worth it.

I'll start this my saying Mohsen Hamza seemed like a nice guy, and I'm no scientist so he may well be very credentialed but my review reflects my overall experience. The first time I visited I got charged an on the spot fee of $350 in order to see Dr Hamza which consisted of a brief 30 minute conversation and an in house 'test' which I still to this day don't know what that was for. I came in because I snore and it annoys my wife. I was told I could have sleep apnea, but provided no other information about what may cause my snoring. For context I'm a fit guy in my early 30s. I then came in for a sleep study, I was wired up by a random dude who hardly seemed to know what he was doing, he couldn't tell me anything about the test and was wearing civilian clothes. I was then left to sleep on my back in a position that was unnatural and bound to cause me to breath badly. A week or two went by and I asked to see my results, but they required an in office visit ($$$) which again came with costs. I asked if I could have a call instead or have them send me the results or I'd come in and collect them. After getting no response, I then got a call from a company trying to sell me a Cpap machine on a subscription. I turned it down having had no follow up care or any idea what was causing my snoring. Then months after going in for the sleep exam I was sent another sizable bill for the test, which again, seemed very rudimentary and unscientific. As far as I know, I was put in a shower cap and left to have a bad night sleep. I don't want to come across bitter, it certainly seems that others have had better experiences. But for me, it cost me a lot of money, to find out nothing.

I am a lawyer.Years ago I went to see Dr. Hamza with a medical issue which was affecting my best work as an attorney. During one of my follow-up visits, I happened to mention, in passing, an extreme, non-medical life situation I was going through that had me stuck and immobilized. Although very busy, Dr. Hamza sat there and listened for an extended period of time engaged, asking questions and making suggestions. He was interested and empathetic, and none of this had to do with medicine.Thereafter on subsequent visits he would always ask me about my life situation and he kept up on developments. Dr. Hamza is now more than my doctor; he is my friend. If you want a medical provider who will treat you as a whole person rather than a medical chart, I highly recommend Mohsen Hamza.

This is the best medical facility I've ever experienced. As a lifetime Los Angeles resident in the area I suffered an accident and did not know where to go. The collaboration, caring for patients is at it's highest and it starts from the top and reflects towards the whole staff. If medical offices and staff need a mold for quality care they should look no further than here. They're are amazing! Look no further you've come to the right place.
