The unique bakery first established in 4th of July 2010 that make the original Iraqi brick oven bread(samoon) the originally tasted falafel and the originally made firewood grilled fish(masgof)
This place has the best Iraqi Falafil, and mix falafel sandwich, the also got the best Iraqi cookie (KAAK), the have gone through few owners, recently the remodel the place looks much better, the place manly for carry out.
No menu and little English spoken, so I just asked the man to make me what he would make himself. Ended up with a falafel sandwich with roasted/fried veggies, lettuce, tomato, onion, herbs, and an amazing amba sauce. One of the better sandwiches I've had.....for $5. UNBELIEVABLE value and quality!!!
Typically I am not a falafel person but Naba bakery falafel is the real deal. It's so good that had it every single day this trip. One of my favorite authentic Iraqi places for sure.
Their kubba is good too, I haven't had a chance to try more of their menu items but I'm sure I won't be disappointed.
Plus, service is quick and the staff is very polite and nice. Highly recommended.
We go here all the time for that specific breakfast craving! Live the falafel, eggplant. Cauliflower sandwich w fries and just the right amount of hot sauce and mango sauce topped w salad in a hot fresh boat bread! Can't get any better! It's one of a kind and it's really hard to find it anywhere! If you haven't already you must try it! Also, take home a couple loaves of fresh bread! They are sooo good with spreads, deli meats and fillings of any kind! The food is hot and fresh! There is also a nice selection of groceries to choose from. Ask about the other foods they have and get to learn the foods on the menu! They all taste really good. And it's all healthy! Must try the yogurt cucumber salad!
