I wish I could give a rating higher than 5 stars because that’s what Tim Ohansian deserves. My mom and I flew into Chicago from out of state for 5 days with the mission of finding an apartment. We had set up about 30 showings through Zillow listings that we had found hoping we would find the one- little did we know it would be Tim we found. One of our showings happened to be through Jameson Sothebys where we met Tim. Of the 30 showings we had lined up he was the only agent that communicated clearly confirming the showing prior and was actually there early. Our showing with Tim was supposed to be 20-30 minutes but it turned into a 3 day adventure, out of Tim’s kindness and generosity. When we met Tim, my mom and I were extremely confused with the city. Our Google searches and conversations with locals had led us to know the words “pilsen, west loop, and little Italy” but we knew nothing of where those places were and how the city actually works. Tim saw our confusion, ignorance, and desperation and he cleared his entire week’s schedule to help us. He drove us around in his personal car throughout every part of the city for 3 days, showing us the areas to visit, the places he loves, the local gems. He gave us an experience and help unheard of. He took the time to understand us and our needs and was relentless in scheduling showings for us, contacting agents, and asking the questions we didn’t know we needed to be asking. Tim became family quickly and treated us like royalty- instead of being an agent focused on making a transaction, he focused on building a genuine relationship with us. We probably saw 60 places and with each property we saw, Tim was there. With each showing, he walked the neighborhood with us making sure it matched our needs. For a full 3 days Tim took care of us and “thank you” or just a simple rating of 5 stars seems far too inadequate.
