Nazalie’s Lebanese Cuisine has the best Lebanese food ever. Everything is made fresh and ”home” style like it’s made for a weekend with the family all sitting around the table.
The female owner was friendly and the food tasted okay, but I was a little shocked that the food in the picture (another same small plate of vegetable salad not included in the photo) cost me $49 (not including tip)! I wasn't even full.
Got the veggie plate and shared it with my dad and grandpa. This was my first time eating Mediterranean food before. It was a great introduction to the food and tasted amazing. The inside of the building is very fun with lots to see, and great music being played. The service was nice and the man was fun to talk to. The hummus was great and the falafels were huge and tasted amazing.
I recently visited and ordered the filet mignon plate and the shawarma hummus dish. While the shawarma hummus was good, the filet mignon plate was disappointing.
I doubt it was actually filet mignon as it had a gamey taste, reminiscent of lamb. When I brought this up with the cook, he was dismissive, which is why I'm leaving a negative review.
As someone who eats meat regularly and often barbecues, I know what quality meat should taste like. The two other people I was dining with also found the filet's taste off, which is frustrating given the $33 price tag for the dish.
I think this was were I tasted my first Lebanese food. At first I was skeptical but eventually my opinion of the food changed. It's pretty good and they set it up on the plate to look nice. Although I like some things more than others, I think the chicken seems to be the best, although one time I ordered a lunch special and got three pieces of chicken kabob which was the least satisfying because for two dollars more I could've gotten full with a plate of chicken shawerma.
