Palmyra Lounge: Middle Eastern Restaurant and Hookah Bar

Hands down the best and most delicious middle eastern restaurant in South Florida. The food is fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I love Ahmed . He is very diligent is everything from picking the best ingredients and meats, to ensuring the best customer experience. I always enjoy the feast and delights Palmyra has to offer. The falafel, hummus, tabbouleh salad are a must. But the entries such the mixed grill platter and lamb chops feast are to die for.

We ordered the veggie plate and the mixed grill and split it and had a drink each and the baklava dessert. The waiter and service were very pleasant. I have one complaint which is why they only get four stars. They dis nit have falafel and it was supposed to be on the vegetarian plate which we ordered because it had falafel. Otherwise, the food was good and I don’t know why I don’t see more people in there, but it was Tuesday afterMemorial Day. Also it is a Hookah lounge. The baklava was the one stand out ad its homemade. And the Mixed grill was very good.

However, it's worth noting that the sofa we sat on wasn't entirely clean, which detracted from the overall experience. **About the Food and Hookah:** We opted for a double apple-flavored hookah, which was enjoyable. However, the side of pita and hummus seemed pre-made or store-bought, lacking freshness. The meat platter we ordered had mixed results; while most of it was satisfactory, the beef appeared undercooked. **Overall Impression:** Despite its nice ambience and friendly service, the inconsistencies in cleanliness and food quality prevent me from giving this Mediterranean spot a higher rating.

This place was definitely a VIBE!! Amazing atmosphere, great food, good hookah, and the owner is very nice down to earth person.. I felt welcome and I would definitely revisit over and over again!! Definitely recommend.

Came in with a party of 4, visiting friends from the northeast. The food was excellent, the meat was well flavored and the rice was delicious. The salad is a great addition to the plate, my friends really enjoyed the fries! Our server was a sweetheart who said he was also the owner! He chatted with us and the overall experience was great!
