In addition to managing the law firm Immigration Solutions Group, I am an Adjunct Law Professor at American University, Washington College of Law where I teach a course on Immigration Law.
A leader in the immigration comminity, I was elected President by my peers to lead the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) DC Chapter with over 900 immigration attorneys in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. I further served a national constituency as Co-Chair of the American Bar Association (ABA), Immigration Litigation Committee.
As part of my work with HR professionals, I am Vice-President of DC SHRM and I have authored the ISG/SHRM co-publication entitled, "The HR Immigration Pocket Reference." Written specifically for human resource professionals, the HR Immigration Pocket Reference™ is a quick reference tool that helps HR professionals navigate everyday immigration issues in HR management including compliance with rules requiring verification of employee work authorization as well as eligibility for employment of foreign nationals to ensure access and retention of the best and brightest global workforce.
