3 months agoThis was not nearly the best Lebanese restaurant that we've eaten at, but it was OK. The chef is also the owner; there are newspaper clippings of her hanging on the wall. The facility is somewhat rundown and needs a good deep cleaning, especially around the windows and plants. The prices are reasonable. My wife had the falafel wrap. She said it was OK but that it had obviously been microwaved and the pita was dry and tough. I had the lamb kabob wrap consisting of cubed lamb wrapped in a pita with onions and tomatoes. The lamb itself was abundant and quite good -- tender and with no gristle or fat. The wrap had no flavor, so if you like the taste of lamb (as I do) then this is a good dish to order.

3 weeks agoRaya is a peaceful and esthetically beautiful place to enjoy a flavorful meal, cooked and served by polite efficient people. If you enjoy quiet dining without loud music or large screens this is for you. Lamb seasoned simply and cooked perfectly. Quite tender. 10/10 will return

5 months agoI ordered onion rings and a gyro. The gyro was alright, but the onion rings were pathetic. I paid $3.50 for a side of them and received 6 small rings. Ridiculous

a year agoThis is a hidden ๐ downtown for delicious food. I thoroughly enjoyed this small family operated restaurant. Their food was ๐ฅ. We ordered: 1. Falafel wrap - coworking friend quote "for $6 this is a bargain." The falafel was flavorful and prepared well. The pita bread was a little thick and needed slightly more toppings. (4/5 ๐) 2. Mixed platter - โค๏ธ โค๏ธ everything on this plate was a fan favorite of mine. The tzatzki sauce was phenomenal! I enjoyed all the protein with this dish and would order again. (7/5 ๐) 3. Hummus - prepared well, great consistency, and loved the added flavors. (5/5 ๐) We will most definitely be returning, and I can't wait to try more of the amazing dishes.
