>Dr. Hamaty has made it his highest priority to stay on the cutting edge of dentistry through continued education. Dr. Hamaty studied Restorative Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania, a renowned Ivy League school from which he graduated with honors. For him, his career choice was an easy one. “I became a dentist to help people and as a way to give back to the community.” After graduation he worked for a year at the University of Pittsburgh before moving to California. He worked in a general dentistry practice for a couple of years until finally, in 1999, he was able to fulfill his dream of owning his own practice.
Dr. Hamaty has completed advance training in Implants, Cosmetic Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Advanced Laser Therapy. He is a preferred provider for Invisalign.
Dr. Hamaty is a member of American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry , the American Dental Association , The California Dental Association , and The Orange County Dental Society . When he is not practicing dentistry , you are most likely to find Dr. Hamaty at the beach .he enjoys gardening, hiking and traveling. But he has little opportunity for that. as he says,” I like People, I like the connection, and I like working with the Patient as a team.
Dr. Hamaty also refocused the practice, stressing a personal approach to dental care. To begin, each patient has a private room where they can truly relax.

a month agoI have been coming to Dr. Hamaty for many years. My family and some of my friends now see him as well. His office staff are friendly and I feel honest. I knew I needed an implant but they didn't push it on me until I was ready. And once I had it done I was sorry I didn't do it sooner. The process was beneficial. I've had other procedures done over the years and the office and staff have taken care of me.

a month agoI’ve had multiple bad experiences with dental professionals, ranging from substandard work to appointment no-shows without notice. So, I tend to find great appreciation for those professionals that meet, and in Dr. Hamaty’s case, exceed expectations. However, the character runs much deeper than the dental talents and manor of Dr. Hamaty. In all my experiences the skill, demeanor, and genuiness of the staff make a team that satisfies all aspects of my dental health needs. I should also mention that outside professional services referred by Dr. Hamaty provided equal level care; making it obvious he places value on even out-of-house services.

3 months agoAfter having a not so great experience at my last dentist I was a reluctant patient to say the least. What a difference a well run dentist office can make. From my first phone call they answered all my questions and got me in fairly quick. I arrived and checked in to smiling sweet faces. Then was time for my cleaning. The dental hygienist was kind and sweet. Up next was Dr. Hamaty. To my surprise he was kind and considerate. He did a thorough job, told me what I needed. And told me what can wait. In no way that I filled pressured as I have felt many times before at my prior office. I had my follow up today and I couldn't be happier. If your looking for a new dentist I would look no further. You will not get lost in the shuffle at this office.

a month agoDr Hamaty and his staff are so personable, attentive, and professional. On x-rays and photos DR Hamaty will explain what he sees and whether it's of immediate concern. Unlike other dental offices I've visited, they don't try to upsell you on something you don't need.
