I absolutely love getting the fatoush salad with chicken shawarma here! Plus it comes with these breads that I love it’s always fresh and well made. And try the garlic paste it’s so good! I come for lunch all the time.
Tucked inside an industrial park, Roro's is an unassuming gem.
I believe this place makes most of its money off its food truck and the restaurant serves as a home base for their operations.
I say that because the shop itself is relatively bare. There's a shelving unit containing all sorts of interesting Lebanese groceries, 7-8 tables tucked along two of the walls and a counter. That's it. This gives the restaurant an open, modern feel which is pretty unique in this space.
We were the only folks in the restaurant when we went, so we immediately walked up to the counter and placed our orders.
In terms of menu options, there isn't much. Some shawarma options, a platter with all the shawarma, some sides to go with your shawarma and drinks.
I ordered, surprise, surprise shawarma....of the steak variety. The price wasn't unreasonable, per say, but I did feel like I was getting nickel-and-dimed a little bit because every add-on costed extra. I think I paid about $10 for my meal.
That said...friends....the food was phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal. This was my first time having Lebanese food so I'll admit that I don't have a lot to compare it to, but I'm convinced that good food is good food and Roro's knows how to make some good food.
My meal was made fresh and stuffed inside two soft, delicious tortilla. It was incredible. The only complaint I had was that there wasn't more of it. I'd also recommend avoiding the pickled red things....whatever they are.
All in all, I'll definitely be back here. Roro's is a quick, convenient and easy way to get a wonderful meal.
