2 years agoHad an appointment and went to schedule 2 follow ups. Called today to check on cancelations the receptionist never booked my appointments but gave me appointment cards, and my insurance already approved the tests. Never have I had a Dr's office tell me this..ever. as a Dr, He knows what he's doing. The staff do not. Update: I had been trying to contact Maria the medical assistant for 2 days as of today. I barely missed the call so I called back. Well, after I was done having to fight to get my appointment made that the receptionist at rancho never bothered to schedule, I asked if I could find out if I was to return to work or not. Got transfered to Maria she picked up the phone after it rang a few times I heard her or someone talking and she hung up on me. So I have now filed a grievance with IEHP over this and they will be in contact with this office over this and the incident with my appointments. It was made clear dr altamimi himself is completely fine it's the staff. Also mentioned how workers will turn their lines off to make it seem like you're on hold too which was also included in the report that was completely filed today with IEHP.

a year agoHorrible! The doctor, himself, seems fine. But everyone is so utterly disorganized that this place becomes a joke. Hereโs what will happen. You will call and be on hold for a half hour. When they finally answer, youโll be told there is a 4 month wait for an appointment. Then, after you tell them you need 48 hours notice, 5 different departments and several people will call asking if you can come in the following morning. Call back again, wait 30 minutes again, to tell them what you already told them, you need 48 hours notice, and be completely forgotten about. Then, instead of fixing what is already broken with their disorganized office, theyโll enroll you in some โcareโ program, where your vitals go to some โcare managerโ somewhere. This person has changed 3 times, so, not really helpful. When I asked if the data is sent to the doctorโฆ no. Itโs sent to the โcareโ manager. Why? If your BP is high and you need help. Ummm, pretty sure I can read it myself and see if my BP is high. Honestly, Iโve done better managing my neurological condition myself than relying on this office for anything. Itโs been nothing but chaos, frustration, and illogic. If anything, the stress from dealing with them has worsened my condition. Iโm done. Next.

5 years agoThe worst medical support staff I have ever dealt with. They never answer the phone, you spend forever on hold then get the option to leave a message, which will take them days to return. They called me with an "urgent" message yesterday and I haven't been able to reach them all day. Nor have they returned the two messages I left. So much for "urgent." I don't even care now if the doctors are good, I'll go somewhere else and I recommend that you do the same. If there were zero stars I'd give them that.

2 years agoSpoke on the phone with two different receptionists hoping to make an appointment for my daughter and after calling back and forth with my insurance and primary care physician, the receptionist told me they couldnโt take me because my daughter wasnโt over 18. Very rude and unprofessional how does that make any sense?? I gave them her birthdate in the beginning of the call. I suggest hiring adequate staff who can do math and not waste peoples time.
