Appointed by Governor Jennifer Granholm to the Michigan Women’s Commission, and am currently an elected member of the Board of Trustee’s of Mott Community College.
I serve on the boards of several organizations, such as: Planned Parenthood of East Central Michiga; The Flint area Salvation Army Advisory Board; Arab American Institute Executive Board, Policy Council, and Leadership Counsil;Mott Alumni Association Board of Directors;
I am a member of the Genesee County Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan; Genesee Valley Rotary; University of MIghigan Alumni Association; Member of the Flint Instiatue of Arts; Flint Institute of Music; YWCA Century Club; Former member:Michigan Women’s Foundation Board of Directors; YWCA Board of Directors; Easter Seals of Genesee County Board of Directors; Past President, Michigan Public Risk Management Association; Girl Scouts of America-Fair Winds Council Board; Flint Area Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Board of Directors; Flint Area Community Housing Resource Board; to name a few.
