4 months agoWe are new to Las Vegas and reached out to this church to possibly become members. However, I called to simply ask if there was a Men's Ministry and Women's Ministry and was told by administration "I can have someone reach out to you." She didn't seem to know if they had these ministries. This was a simple yes or no question she couldn't answer. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt that she may be is new and just didn't know but I would think knowing what ministries are available at your church is pretty important. I did go to the website to see if I could find them but for some reason I couldn't get the link to open. The person who answered the phone wasn't very warm or friendly so I hope she isn't an example of what to expect if we decide to visit. I won't count them out on our search for a church but I will say I'm reluctant to even visit but I believe in second chances. Hopefully others that call will have a better experience.

12 months agoThey used to host a monthly hot breakfast the last Sunday of each month, years ago. But I'm sure staff are just keeping any & all donations for themselves. Snack bags most times have a sandwich. The BBQ ๐ญ & ๐ are great! Clothing are awesome. Always closed during Thanksgiving & Christmas holidays. Rather odd. Could be a lot more polite. *Man told everyone to wear a mask. God says "Trust in the Lord!" Ditch the masks!!!

a year agoI love the fact that I can visit my church on line, and to know that my health is no longer an issue for not going to church. I grew up in second baptist church in las vegas. going on line was a great idea, because i don't have a car, and i can't walk to far. and yes, I Give the glory and honor to God our lord. thanks second baptist for making this possible. and the lord who is the head of my life. So I will say thank God for technology and thank you second baptist ๐พ
