Shawarma Paradise

Don’t understand the positive reviews. I bought a chicken shawarma yesterday. While the price was good, the shawarma was below average. The bread was thick and cold, and the filling warm at best. I ate the shawarma in the car because I wanted to eat it while still hot. Truth is I could’ve eaten it the next day with the same experience. I think it’s geared towards students who just want something cheap to survive. I might go back to try something else from their Indian street food menu but never a shawarma again. Really wanted to like it but there are other places that are way better when it comes to a shawarma.

Family owned restaurant. Excellent service and delicious food. I got the gyro sandwich. Originally I chose it because they were the only open Mediterranean restaurant that was open. I’m happy they were.

I work night shifts at a nearby hospital and these guys always take care of me! The food is fantastic and the prices are affordable. Workers are friendly and service is prompt! Hanging out in the spot is nice too.. little small but that just means you get to sit closer to your friends definitely recommend! Been here many times and never once been let down... except when they sell out of food. (It's that good.. and fresh 👌)

The people and food here are AMAZING, such a nice family that owns it! They have a ghost kitchen that is all vegan/ vegetarian and it so delicious. Some things are spicy (which I love) but if you can't handle the heat, ask about your dish first.

Wow, Shawarma Paradise is an absolute gem! My wife and I dined there recently, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The place is spotless, the background music sets a great vibe, and the staff are incredibly friendly. For just $21, we enjoyed a meal that was both delicious and affordable—a rare find in today’s economy! We had the Chicken Shawarma on the fluffiest Greek bread, topped with fresh lettuce, and a trio of amazing classic sauces (Garlic, Secret, and Hummus). This was my first time trying shawarma, and I’m hooked! The flavors were out of this world, with each sauce adding its unique touch to the overall deliciousness. But the surprises didn’t stop there. We also tried the veggie burger. Now, I’m a dedicated non-vegan, but this veggie burger was a revelation. It had a taste reminiscent of stuffed crab and was incredibly tasty. I never thought I’d say this, but I’d happily order it again! Shawarma Paradise is conveniently located near the university, making it a must-visit for everyone in Tempe. The only minor downside is their operating hours, which are from 7 pm to midnight, 7 days a week—personally, this is a bit late for us. Despite this, I can’t wait to go back. If you’re looking for an amazing food experience, Shawarma Paradise is the place to be!
