Shish Kabob & Grill

Wow! A+++ What a find! We came in on a Sunday night and we were just blown away by our meals. The fresh homemade ice tea was delicious and unique, the hummus and stuffed grape leaves were both super yummy. The kefta and chicken schwarma were both very good- every detail to the meal was homemade and very fresh. The garlic toum sauce was a great accent and the tahini was wonderful too! Homemade pickled vegetables with exotic flavors. The baklava was one of the best I’ve ever had. From beginning to end the entire meal was just outstanding! Clearly made by people who care! We felt transported to another place with the amazing flavors! If we lived in the area, we’d definitely be regulars here!

I absolutely love this place. Alex, the host, is such a wonderful person—he always greets me with a big, friendly smile. This restaurant is a local, family-run operation, serving halal Iraqi-style dishes with a unique twist. The portions are generous, and my all-time favorites are the Burek, Kibbeh, lamb chops, lamb shank, and the delicious Maskoof.

This was a big letdown – not at all authentic ! Not shawarma meat cut and tasted different. Some other spicy sauce. Call it something else not shawarma. Fattoush was also a big no. It was just a regular salad that was not even fresh. The two stars are for the french fries only. Very crispy and fresh tasting. Over all disappointed!

Shish Kabob and Grill is definitely a go to place of mine for great food. The server always greets customers with a smile and he even remembers my usual - the Beef Kabob. It's a welcoming restaurant for everyone who comes in, has a good selection of food, and you pay for what you get every time.

We are visiting from Michigan, and wanted something fimilar being middle eastern food, and this popped on my google and Thank God it did because it was amazing and the young man Alex that served us was exceptional. 5 star all around!
