Shoprite on seminary and band craft is not the store to shop in.
There meat is bad.The crab is dry.Their greens spoiled. I went this morning and bought $20 worth of Mustard and Turn up greens. Those grains taste like s*** There was something in them that spoiled the whole pot. So public be aware
Hey they have many stuff ,if there wasn't in the hood I would have to call new Orleans...I been shopping there for 25 yrs, and have seen so much growth , from cleanses, better Customer service, they have many things some big time super market dnt have. They have became a great store.
The place is ok while they provide lots of Middle East stuff their prices are pretty high in comparison to others and expiration dates not checked, have gotten a couple items that were expired and once an item that had a sticker over the expiration date with a new expiration date. Had to update this review due to my recent visit they donโt check quality of their products cheese was open and it smelled really bad as if it was used. Never going their again
Interesting market. But than a further sure, smaller than a big-box supermarket. Lots of Middle Eastern and Mexican and Cajun/Creole products, bulk spices. Good produce section and meat markets (two, for some reason). When I lived nearby, this was my go-to place for most groceries, and I still stop by regularly for some specialty products, like frozen baby okra (great for gumbo).
