When human beings are unable to resolve their differences, a solution is always found when one understands and appreciates the different cultures and traditions of others. Because Tania grew up in a home full of diversity and a huge family that inevitably experienced adversity, she always had a burning desire to become an attorney, to be a problem solver.
In 2007, Tania graduated with distinction from Western Michigan University Law School. She began her career with the Washtenaw County Public Defender's Office in Michigan and later joined the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office. She continued to focus her efforts on family immigration and removal issues as the Immigration Senior Attorney at Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland.
Tania currently serves as a magistrate for the Akron Municipal Court where she presides over small claims and eviction matters.
Tania has previously served as vice-president of the West Shore Bar Association (WSBA).
