Tarator Mediterranean Grill

Had a lovely lunch at Tarator today it was our first time and we really enjoyed it. Excellent Turkish coffee and appetizers and good quality chicken kabob and lamb chops. Wonderful service and friendly staff.

Overpriced for quantity and quality of food (mixed platter especially). We liked the lamb chops the best. Did not realize it contained a “hookah bar” and wished there was a hookah free section inside (outside during summer months is humid even with the shade and fans, also traffic smog close by). Decor was nice.

I came back here after some time because I loved the food. Looks like the management has changed and the new management is trying to make money on adding service charge without asking the customer. We were 2 adults and a kid and they added an 18% service charge. When I asked the server he offered to refund from his own pocket. Shady practices will always kill a business.

My Katy, TX friends, you MUST check this place out. The food, service and atmosphere is so nice. I feel like I’m relaxing here after a long day with a wonderful crowd doing the same.

Our first time here. I didn't know they didn't serve alcohol but you can BYOB ✅ we had hot tea 🫖. we ordered cheese, olives and salad to start, it took a while about 20 minutes (busy night) The food was a 5⭐️ CARVED BEEF SHAWARMA & TRADITIONAL BEEF GYROS . Incredible flavor and very generous portion . The service/waiter was very friendly, attentive and super apologetic about the delay . Overall, we recommend it 👍⭐️
