Taste of Jerusalem

Had two friends recommend this place. This was my second time trying Mediterranean food, and it was my first time having chicken schwarma. It was AWESOME! Spicy rice was very tasty and had a decent kick to it. I enjoyed the salad too. Girlfriend got the falafel sandwich and she really liked it too. It was $27 for our order, but you do leave full. I will be back to try other items on the menu.

The food was okay but I felt it was too dry but I liked the falafel. The portion size was little big for us. We were the only customer dining but the kitchen seemed busy sending online orders

We tried the chicken sandwich, it was perfect. The garlic sauce is the BEST garlic sauce I've ever had. The falafel was delish and perfectly cooked. My chicken shawarma was delicious and a huge portion! I could eat a gallon of that spicy rice! We also got fries, and because we were a little late picking up our to-go order they were just slightly past their prime, but that was my fault, I would probably save room for the falafel anyway! Everything else was absolutely 10/10, will definitely return!

I got the chicken kabob, it’s SO tender and juicy, and their spicy rice is amazing. Plus workers were so nice. Such a great place!

This is some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in a very long time, especially Plainfield. Family owned business, takes great care of customers.
