The Bite

Located in mission, an unassuming place. A great place grab a healthy bite! This is family owned Turkish & Mediterranean food. Amazing services and food. Lentils soup, falafel are must try. They even offered us a baklava desert on the house. Review update: we normally not go same place twice when travelling. We just have to come back to the bit after a long day of event to have the heart warming lentil soup and a big fresh salad. This isn’t really a cozy dine-in type of place, but the food is really good!! I was very happy with the bean-salad I chose, delicious! Staff was also very friendly.

Considering the area The Bite is in, I didn’t have high expectations. It’s unassuming from the outside, but it’s a pretty decent place: it’s safe and nice inside, there are several tables and they are getting cleaned once the customers leave. There are several VG options on the menu. Though they offer indoor sitting, everything is served to go. The staff is friendly, the menu is limited so you don’t get overwhelmed.

Many gluten free and vegan options. I got the vegan lamb gyro here before watching a movie at the metreon. I'm pretty sure it was just tofu, but it was pretty tasty.

Great food- The Bite fries are sooo tasty, as are the truffle parmesan fries! Lamb & beef gyro and beef kabob rice bowl both delicious! Recommend!
