The Nile Restaurant was one of the first to bring the middle eastern menu to Chicago, hummus falafel shawerma you name it. featured on abc news as one of the most authentic middle eastern restaurants in Chicago.
The food that we did order was good. But I do have to say, it was not clean, the seats and floor had crumbs at almost every table so it took us a minute to find seating as we didn't want to sit at a dirty table. The outside of the property was covered in bird droppings and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. There is so much room to be better. The service was great staff is very friendly.
One of the best breakfast places I have been to in North America. We had falafel, foul, liver and kidney, and eggs and potatoes. Service was great, food was amazing.
"The Nile restaurant truly made our family gathering memorable with their incredible Shawerma plate!
From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality.
The aroma of the freshly grilled meats filled the air, and we couldn't wait to indulge.
The Shawerma was perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor - a true delight for the taste buds! The portion sizes were generous, ensuring everyone left satisfied.
The cozy atmosphere and attentive staff added to the overall experience. Whether you're dining in or taking out, The Nile restaurant is a top choice for delicious Middle Eastern cuisine.
Highly recommended!
I'm not a breakfast person, but when it comes to Arabic food, I'm always down to eat some. The food is always fresh and tasty. Everything they have is so good. The falafel, fries, and bread are always so fresh and crispy. The shawerma and fried cheese are absolutely tasty and seasoned so well. I also got a plate of rice and cucumber salad for later.
