2 months agoSolid place for mediterranean food. The salad is very refreshing and filling. No lettuce. Just meat and cucumber salad. The top item though is falafel, fried hot, freshly made in front of your face!

2 months agoI found Truly to be solid if unremarkable. The chicken kabob and beef kufta plates had good flavor and serving sizes. The lamb shawarma wrap was big but dry and desperately needed more sauce. The lentil soup was delicious and mild. There's a few counter seats indoors and some tables outside. There are lots of drink options but you have to buy them separately at the register. The ordering tablet is right next to the entrance, so you also have to constantly squeeze aside when staff and customers want to get by you. Finally I'm disappointed that they hide a 2.9% "service charge" and an 0.5% "convenience fee" with the tax.

a month agoSurprised to see so many positive reviews. Wanted to try a new shawarma spot in SF and found this place recommended on Reddit. Got the taster plate and two wraps. First problem with the order was I got a falafel wrap instead of a chicken wrap. Second and biggest problem was the fact that all of the food was incredibly dry and absolutely flavorless. Almost as if they forgot to use any sort of seasoning. Would really avoid this place and would recommend you go to McDonaldโs instead. In fact, even Burger King might be better. To top it all off I spend 80$. SF really needs a proper spot for shawarma.
