Dr. Salem graduated from the Mayo Medical School after finishing his undergraduate work at UC Berkeley. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UC San Francisco. Where he was selected as best resident teacher and best resident minimally invasive surgeon. He then completed his subspeciality training in Reproductive Medicine (REI) at the University of Southern California. Additionally, Dr. Salem possesses a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences (M.S.) from the University of Southern California and a Masterโs in Public Health (MPhil) at the University of Cambridge in the UK. Prior to joining the NDFC team, he helped hundreds of families in Minnesota and California to achieve their dreams.

After having multiple consultations with other IVF doctors and feeling uneasy after each, we met Dr. Salem and immediately felt at peace and knew this was who we were supposed to be working with. He takes the time to listen to you, advocate for you, and teach you as your walk through such a huge journey. You are not just a number when you work with him. If you live in Arizona, I canโt recommend New Directions Fertility in Scottsdale enough so that you can work with Dr. Salem. It was worth the drive and time. Iโm forever grateful to be successfully pregnant after our transfer and I know I have Dr. Salem to thank for this next chapter.

a year agoMy husband and I came to Dr. Salem after a negative experience from another clinic. After our first appointment with Dr. Salem we knew we had finally found a doctor who was going to present us with solid research data statistics as well as several treatment plan options to move forward. We were so relieved to finally be more than just a number and receiving individualized care from a doctor(and his team) who genuiely cared. Over the course of our care, Dr. Salem amazed at the time he took to really listen to all of our questions, our skepticisms, and even our worries. He made recommendations that were in our best interest. When it came to procedures Doctor Salem was great at explaining each step of the process in great detail and is very reassuring. He helped to calm many of my and my husbands anxieties while under his care. Overall, we are very grateful we made the switch. We highly recommend Dr. Salem to anyone looking for individualized fertility care.

He is incredibly empathetic and dedicated -- a brilliant doctor who pays attention to detail. The care is individualized and top notch. a year agoI absolutely adore Dr Salem. IVF is a very tough journey with tons of highs and lows. Being even early in the journey, Dr Salem has been so empathetic and available throughout the process. His team is responsive when it comes to questions and really goes out of their way to help in this process. I changed jobs and literally was like I am not going if CCRM isn't in network. I am not interested in another clinic at all. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

Looking at his credentials, they are impeccable, but equally important were his skills at walking us through our challenges with kindness and attention to our personal needs.
