Wagyu Shawarma Grill Mission Valley

HALAL CERTIFIED EATERY (3.5*) Located in Rancho Mission Plaza next to McGregor's. Wagyu Shawarma Grill menu is rich with flavors that offer an array of options from kebabs, wraps, salads and delectable sides. WHAT DID YOU ORDER? Wagyu plate: 1/2 chicken tikka and wagyu beef skewer w/hummus, fattoush, & pickled beets. Although it is high quality meat, the tikka and wagyu kebab were dry and not as seasoned as comparable eateries. I am not a rice eater although I appreciated the texture of this rice. The side salad was not memorable, but I did like the beets. Pepsi products-boo. My 11-year-old foodie ordered the wagyu shawarma and he was impressed with the juiciness of the wrap but commented the meat should be sliced thinner instead of long thick slices  and He also wanted a balance of vegetation and sauce filling instead of meat, meat, meat. Good for a carnivorous eating plan. My 13-year-old ordered the gyro halal wrap and had similar impressions. Adding that the pita was crisp and so thin that the meat overpowered the sandwich. IS THERE A DIFFERENCE WITH HALAL? Though not said, but implied, Wagyu Grill prides itself on serving a wide variety of authentic, halal-certified dishes that cater to a diverse palate.  I agree. Plus most dishes have halal in the menu name. The assurance of halal certification is a significant comfort for those adhering to a halal diet or faith based practices, making it a popular choice for the droves of customers observed within the 2 hours I was there. HOW WAS THE SERVICE? Excellent. Personable. Responsive. WOULD YOU EAT HERE AGAIN? Price points at the eatery are reasonable, considering the quality of food and the portion sizes. It offers great value for money, whether you're opting for a light snack or a full-course meal. There are other options on the menu that may be specific to this chain and I find it will be worth trying in the future. I never write reviews…even when I really really disliked a place…but I’m literally writing this right after I ate here. First of all, I think the lady that helped me order was named Alexandera…well give her a raise…I haven’t had a better customer service experience in such a long time! And that’s on top of how good the food was! I had the Chx Cream Chop Wrap…and wow! So good!!! And when you add that red sauce that it came with…seriously…mind blown! Not only will I come back…I will tell everyone I know about this place!

Thank god I live close to here because i will 100% be back ! Me and my wife shared the kabob platter plate and their chicken Sandwich! My favorite was the kabob plate because it comes with two kabobs enough to fill me up ! The cashier recommended us getting the plate and it was amazing ! The restaurant was clean which is always a plus and they had enough seating everywhere! When I come back im definitely gonna try something new!

Came here for lunch with my family looking for a shawarma place nearby. The service was great and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere of the location was very nice; it's small and welcoming and overall a good vibe. The food for me was where this place fell behind in my opinion. I ordered the beef shawarma and I think that it lacked overall flavor. It might have been a one-off thing as the rest of my family enjoyed their lamb shawarma and chicken shawarma and chicken sandwich. I will definitely try again. Also the fries were amazing.

I tried their beef, chicken and doner Shawarma, the kabab plate with rice and the mix and match sides platter. All shawarma flavours were delicious specially the beef shawarma. Out of the sides, the rice, fries and baba ghanouj were my favorite but everything else was good too! Their garlic sauce was super yummy too and the lady on the cashier was super friendly and nice. Thanks for the delicious food and great customers service. Will definitely come back!
