8 months agoThis place deserves more 5 star reviews! The food is so good, the prices are reasonable, and the brothers that run it are so nice! The atmosphere is also cute and the parking is easy! We have ordered their Vegetarian Plate which has a great sampler of homemade hummus, homemade baba ganoush, pita bread, dolmas (stuffed grape leaves), grilled vegetables (tri-colored bell peppers and tomatoes), falafel and a delicious house salad that my sister and I shared! This plate was so satisfying and delicious! I can't believe how many Mediterranean places stopped offering vegetarian platters :( glad this place has it still! My boyfriend got the chicken shawarma kabob plate which comes with pita bread, rice and salad; he said the chicken was so good. My sister got a falafel sandwich which was a generous portion and yummy! We also got the homemade baklava and some draft beers. We highly recommend this place! I also saw they deliver with GrubHub. Enjoy this best kept secret Mediterranean / Lebanese food and hookah lounge (open until late!)

4 months agoI ordered the following items: - Baba Ghanoush: it was okay, I've definitely had better ones. It was supposed to be served with "soft, chewy pita bread", there was nothing soft about the pita bread I got, it was perhaps the hardest bread ever. I was almost scared for my teeth biting into it because it was so hard. A huge letdown. - Falafel Plate: it was pretty good, I liked the Falafel and hummus and the rice as well. The Tahini sauce not so much. - Gyro Sandwich + Small French Fries: the Gyro Sandwich was my favorite out of the entire order, its the only thing I will be willing to get again. The fries were just okay. - Baklava, it was good but again I've had much better ones. Overall, I was a little disappointed because I had high expectations based on the ratings, but I should have just gotten the Gyro Sandwich and it would have been 5/5.

2 months agoI have no idea how this place currently has a 4.6 rating. I only write reviews if places are either one of the best or worse experiences. So this is only my 4th review. Do yourself a favor and do not eat here. The worst meal ever. It started with hummus that had zero flavor and was watery. We had four people in our party and we had were in town from Los Angeles looking for some good Mediterranean food but this place was gross.

2 months agoWe got into San diego and came here by chance, let me just say how delicious ALL the food was!!! I would highly recommend the beef shawarma sandwich. It exceeded my expectations and so did the falafel! The baklava was delicious too. Seriously so good, overall great experience, the men working were so kind and the vibe felt like home. DELICOUS 10/10

2 months agoGreat food! The hummus was so smooth. We ordered the vegetarian plate, the gyro, and the hummus and meat. It was all great, especially the dolmas and the falafel.
