History

Established in 1973.

Xanadu Dance Studio was opened by Kathryn Ferguson in 1973. She was a world renowned Raqs Sharki dancer and traveled throughout the world performing and teaching. The studio is now managed by a collective of dancers, mentored by Kathryn, who continue to teach from the studio in Tucson and who perform locally and across the United States.
