I wish I could give this place 10 stars! Just an incredible experience. The owner, Sam, was a delight from the start. As first timers, we had no idea what to order and were a bit overwhelmed with the gigantic menu! Sam and his wife Fabiola were extremely patient, breaking down each of the dishes and recommending his favorite dishes. Ultimately we went with the zaatar wrap.
“It’s big,” Sam warned us with a smile.
“I think i’ll be ok and can finish it,” I laughed.
Boy was I wrong, LOL. The zaatar wrap is MASSIVE. I could only manage half of it, and I was starving. And it was only $13! I’ve had smaller sandwiches in LA for 16. It’s the best deal ever!
After our very yummy and generous meal, Sam approached us and asked if we would like some coffee? on the house! He flavored it with cardamom, which is supposedly great for digestion.
Was so happy that he gave us coffee at the end! It was delicious and the perfect end to a large satisfying meal.
Will be customers for life!
Amazing manaeesh and superb customer service. I purchased a package of cookies, a package of tahini bread, a Hara (Pepper Paste) & Cheese Manaeesh and a Zaatar Manaeesh. The manaeesh were flavorful, soft, fresh, and delicious vegetarian options. The zaatar was so nice and I’m looking forward to coming back for the zaatar and cheese wrap next time. I highly recommend stopping by this shop!
I tried Zaatar Factory at a family function we had orderd several pastry trays and lajmajun platters which has a variety of there items.
Every single thing i tasted was delicious I had no complaints, tasted fresh and flavorful and beautiful presentation.
I am ordering again for a family function and Fabiola has been helping me, she has been so kind and helpful. Going above and beyond for the customer. What a great experience.
Visiting from Iowa. We wanted to try a meal we can't find back home. This restaurant was an excellent choice! Our group of four ordered a variety of items, sharing them all and liking everything! Favorites were the lajmajun (looks like a thin pizza but more flavor), ashta (a milk cream pudding with pistachios that is dangerously addicting), and a lemonade tarragon drink (which I wish I could have brought home on the plane). We ate at a little table on the sidewalk which was very pleasant. We were treated like valued customers. Very affordable, too. Wish we had someplace like this back home. Thank you!
Really good, fresh food. The Zaatar has a really vivid taste and the bread is perfect. Portions run large. Service is excellent and friendly, they’ll set up a little table for you outside. Awesome little family-run neighborhood food joint.
