11 months agoI have lived in Los Angeles for 20 years and have never really had a great experience with primary care doctors. This all changed when by chance, I went to Dr. Mahmoud when I changed insurance companies. I absolutely love Dr. Mahmoud! She is so knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. She easily diagnosed the real reason behind a terrible cough which I have gotten once or twice a year since college. I have been to many other doctors previously and it was never cured. After seeing Dr. Mahmoud a little over a year ago, I have not had this โdeath coughโ since. She sees patients as a whole system and doesnโt just treat the symptoms which means she is concerned about your long term and overall health. She takes her time with you, you never feel rushed, and she doesnโt leave until you fully understand everything. I have already recommended her to 3 other people and they all feel the same about Dr. Mahmoud. She is funny and relatable and I never have a problem getting an appointment when I need one. I highly recommend you see her if you need any medical care.

11 months agoYou know how when you get new insurance the insurance company automatically assigns a doctor to you until you change it to whomever you had in mind....THANK GOD I DID NOT! Dr. Mahmoud is by far the most well rounded doctor I have had! She is truly knowledgeable and open to the latest modalities, from general family medicine to hormonal/menopausal, dermatology and beyond. Not to mention how cool she and her assistant Griselda are. Great people and always helpful! It is always a pleasure to go the doctor now! Lol BTW: I have been going to her for over a year...........they are consistent.

9 months agoDr. Mahmoud, upon my first time visit was incredibly warm, articulate, informative, and answered all of my questions in one of the most caring bedside manners I have experienced. Normally I feel a little trepidatious around new doctors, because I've had prior experiences that ranged from awful-to-begin-with/ condescending/ rude to nice-at-first, then couldn't-be-bothered in subsequent appointments. Only time will tell with this new doctor, but so far she has impressed me very much, so much so that the more time I spent with her (and she really allowed for a considerable amount of time for that first appointment), the more comfortable I felt in really opening up about all my health issues and questions, and being vulnerable enough to hear and receive all of the suggestions she had laid out for me~ that is a very new feeling. I look forward to really working on the state of my health with someone who seems to genuinely care for the wellbeing of her patients. Thanks Dr. Mahmoud! :D Also, her front desk staff were super friendly and superb!:)

8 months agoOver the past two years as a patient at this practice, Iโve encountered consistent challenges in receiving timely responses. This lack of communication has been a significant source of frustration for me. The struggle to get a clear and prompt reply has been a recurring issue, making it difficult to manage my healthcare effectively. Despite numerous attempts to address this, the situation has not improved. Based on my experience, I find it difficult to recommend this practice to others, as the communication barriers significantly detract from the quality of care provided.
